Well I'm thinking about getting a new rossi .28 8-port for the revo coming. I don't have very much experience with this engine, wondering about what some you guys thought about it?

AP,
Rossi or Novarossi? Several friends run the NR 528X. Huge power and a good reliable engine. Rossi, I know nothing about.

Yeah well, the Rossi and the Novarossi are two entirely different engines.
My only question is the Revo driveline standing up to the .28. That motor is truly an animal.

I might go with a TM but not sure yet. I think I'm just going to kill the 2.5 first.

The 528 would completely overwhelm the Revo. I've run a 323 in my Revo and the power from that took some time to jell with the rest of the chassis. The stock drive shaft are pretty robust and what's really important, cheap. If you feel the need to upgrade, MIP shafts are the way to go. RB have just released the new TM523 ohhh boy! www.rbproducts.com/mainEn.php?part=Products&AR_Stat04=RB%20CONCEPT&GProduit=E01901-523000/R The OS 18 rips as well. I damaged one when the air filter came off and it swallowed some dirt.

Make sure this will fit in the hole with the starter you are using. A guy came into our local shop and burned up a new picco engine in about 1 hour.He had it in there but the pullstart was binding on the back A arm which was shoving the engine into the clutch and flywheel to hard which binded everything up. The end result . It seized the engine. Just make sure you have enough clearance. in there so you don't bind anything. or you'll be screaming What Happened!

I'm thinking about an O.S. .30? I have heard those things put out serious power. I will be willing to get new driveshafts if needed.
