Well, it's getting to be that time, i need a new charger. My Mega Dual-E isn't making the cut. I was debating between the MRC 977, Dynamite Twin Peak and Duratrax Twin Pulse. I've heard that pulse chargers aren't very good. And i've heard people say that the twin peak won't charger their high voltage batteries (like 3700's) and the MRC is just too expensive. So i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Need some help on this one.

Dyamite one is great, I used it for my e-maxx. Try it out, its wonderful. Duratrax is mainly electric, there nitro kits like warhead are real low quality. Don't let that make you think there electronics are bad.

For some reason my Dynamite Twin Peak for my E-Maxx false peaked all my batteries. At the time I was only running 3000's so be careful.

Yeah, i've heard things like that, but i'm not worrying too much because the highest capacity batteries i'll probably get will be 3000's. But i am concerened about my 1500's because i'm only getting about 4 minutes of good runtime on them and then they die out, probably not even 4.

That shouldn't be happening. 4 minutes?

Well, i don't even know what brand they are, and they're 1500's so they aren't that good. I'm gonna save up some cash and buy some good 3000's.

Get some GP 3300's at least. I've heard good things about the Radio Shack stick packs, and for only $25 you can't beat the price. Cycle the 1500's a few times. 6 minutes should be all you can get out of some old 1500 packs though.

I've heard though that if you get the GP pack with the individual cells, and since I have a roll cage (which is steel) you can short circuit your packs from the ends of the pack touching the steel on the roll cage.

The RS packs are stick packs, so there's no possible way to do that. You could also just put a strip of rubber or some other insulation on the roll cage.
