The Savage seems to have a very weak driveline , my diffs always go out and so does my tranny gears (stock engine). I know of other people that have ahd the same problem. I got so fed up with it I sold it!

I have never changed a diff on my savage and I abuse it Its kinda weird that you changed so many on yours. You may have got a lemon. Did you buy the truck new? If it was used, something in your driveline could have been bad and causing the blown diffs. Ray

My rush evo is terrible. It eats transmission parts like they were tasty sugary low fat snacks.
The worst part is the middle gear, which just allways died. In the end i got a carbon one. Also, hex's. I hate them. If you abuse the rush at all the cheapass wheel bearings produce enough heat to trnamitt heat through the shaft to the hex's, and they being made of cheap plastic they get soft and fail, and end up melted into the wheels. You dont just need new hex's, but wheels too. One of my 1st mods was to ger Thundertiger hexless wheels.

Haven't had any problems with either of my Savage 25's. And I beat both of mine to death.

Yeah I think I just had a bad one. Or maybe I just run them a little to hard!

i also have a savage 25 and nothing wrong. somtimes when i breaking i hear a crackling noise from my front differential i think it's balding out or it's almost had it. but i always do wheelies some people say it could be from that

True it could be that. Also my savage always bogged like crazy when I accelerated and seemed to have no power. Proabably something binding.

thats usually a tuning problem....my 25 was pretty robust. it wa at its best right before it died. snapped its driveshaft....the 4.1 in my X is a VERY good engine. ive beatin the hell out of all of my cars, i own a savage 25, a savage x, a mt2 18ss, hot bodies e-zilla, and a rs4 18ss. each has there own little story.

I don't think it was a tuning problem. I have been in this hobby for over 12 years, and I know how to tune an engine usually. But who knows it might have been a tuning problem.....

HPI engines are allright. My rush T15 is actually even what i would call cool! Appart from the stupid electric start. It's a cool feature, but the battery dies quick. I replaced it with a normal pullstart.
Unfortunatly i swaped my rush for a plane, but then the guy decided to swap back, and he tuned the rush so lean that the piston/sleeve is screwd.
Later in the year when i have spare time i'll buy another oen ang get the rush bashing again. Too busy at the moment...have like 2 fests coming up and i need to change my entire lineup of equipment, get used to it, etc etc.

alot of people have actually been having alot of problems with the new hpi engines. and for the bogging problem it had to be a tuning problem. because engines dont just bogg fromanything unless its usually a huge drag but even then the slipper should have taken care of that.
